Image Guidelines

The quality of your uploaded image is key to creating the perfect pet portrait. Follow these tips to ensure the best results:

  • Use a well-lit photo taken in daylight or a brightly lit room.
  • Opt for a smartphone or high-quality camera.
  • Ensure your pet's full face and neck are visible, with no shadows.
  • Avoid filters to capture your pet’s true coloring.
  • Position your pet at eye level, facing forward. Other poses are fine but will appear as-is in the final portrait.
  • Please note: collars, leashes, bows, hats, and other cute outfits MAY OR MAY NOT BE portrayed in the final product.

The Better The Pic, The Better Your Product

Here are some other hints:

If you take a side view photo and your fur baby has a tail, please show it.

Notice if their foot or any part of their body is cut off at a weird angle.

Almost all designs look better with pet name directly on top of their image.
